Can you design my restaurant or just do the drafting?
We are a group of certified foodservice design professionals, Hospitality fit-out and Equipment specialists working together to create practical solutions for all your Hospitality Projects.
How do you know what sort of equipment suits the business?
Well, there are many factors that can affect equipment selection from menu and type of food to budget and of course available space for them.
Hi, my name is John and I’m from Aveful Foodeatbandage Enterprise! I would like to speak to the director of your business?
I am really sorry John, our good-hearted director has just left the office to go to Africa on flight GM708 A380 for a 34-day charity challenge to save some animals’ lives … hello John … are you there?… hello?
Can you do the design with a 50% discount?
No, I am sorry our prices are fixed and are calculated based on the complexity of each project.
But it is very small and easy? My cousin would do it for free for me!
Are you crazy? Why do you want to burn your money? Just give it to your cousin and save $$$.
But he is overseas and does not know Australian Regulations?
Oh, I see, No worries at all, Full price!
Dude, look, our budget is tight as, but we want this f...ing business, are you smart enough to design this sh.. without blowing up the money with luxury equipment or what?
Bro, like we get your drift. We work with any budget making sure you can get it up and running. Many things can be done after a while. I would say, let the business pay for it. It’s been said that we’re so tight that the Trusty canteen milk use-by date often extends for up to 5 days so you better avoid having a white tea or coffee at our joint because you just never know.
Why do we need a hand basin?
Great question, well, let me check the design guideline, I am curious too…? Oh, here it is,… it says to wash your hand to prepare food! Isn’t it interesting? I am more than happy to arrange a demo if you don’t know how to use it!
What do you do at Hexa Hospitality Design?
Apart from dreaming of winning a $100m Lottery and surfing the internet to get new ideas and learn how to bake a loaf of sourdough bread, our in house designers use high-performance computers to solve puzzles and put equipment and benches together to find the best kitchen design for customers. They sometimes like the puzzles like sudoku too to fresh their mind!
What is your lead time normally?
It really depends on the complexity of the project, but our average project delivery is 3 weeks from brief to completion. A fresh swell, craft beer launches and rugby can also affect those lead times.
How do I know this design with your proposed materials and colours would look good?
Easy… Simply watch this video, which is a 3D Interior Design Walkthrough of a restaurant we designed. This is how we present our ideas to our clients. How cool is this!
We need a well-detailed design done for our restaurant to submit to the council and for builders to complete the project. We also need 3D renders so we can make sure how it would look like at the end and note that our design budget is up to $2,500 inc GST. Can you submit your drawings by the end of the week?
All our designs are bespoke, from the brief, feasibility studies and concept designs to finalising the full set of drawings, it takes time and there are numerous fixed costs that restrict us from meeting some budget expectations.
Hi, Could I speak to the director of your business, please?
John…? Is that you?….
Do you do free inspections and free quotes?
Yes all inspections within northern NSW to North Brisbane are free along with free quotes, although we certainly do accept donations apart from living farm animals, unwanted relatives and tickets to Finefood Expo.
What is the design process?
We start with an initial meeting to discuss the brief, then feasibility studies will be carried out, followed by concept designs. We then gonna have another meeting to walk through the design and finalise the layouts to your business’s benefit. Technical drawings will be completed once the concept is approved. In the meantime we go to a pub nearby to have a beer and discuss the finishes, look and feel, to complete the project to your desired design. It looks hard, but we make it easy fun for you, as that is what we do every day.
